Hello everyone,

I need some advice. So I have a page with some text and no images. but the teaser for this page i would want to display a small photo.

How can I do this?

Well, actually the page is text with flash content. I would want to generate a thumbnail from the flash but I cant find a way to do that.

I was thinking add an image in the page/story. and hide it some way when viewed on the page and if viewed as a teaser it would show. or maybe use javascript to hide the image. any suggestions?

Content Template!

This lets you separately create templates for the teaser and story versions of the same node

You can actually do this with just cck. As you said, add an imagefield for the thumbnail, then in the 'display settings' tab configure it so it only shows on teasers.

Thanks for the replies. I went ahead with what worldFallz said.

For the other with the same problem. What I did was added an ImageField to a story and then in Administer>Content management>Story>Display fields I checked exclude on the full node image.
