Auto-embeding of YouTube videos via email

I have a site that is to be optimized for mobile device users, that allows users to easily add content via email. I'm looking for a way for users to email videos straight from the YouTube site and have them embed directly into nodes. I thought the Video Filter module would do this, but it requires the addition of a special [video: url] tag in order for the video player to be embedded.

I would think there is some simple way to get around requiring users to manually input these special tags, such as creating a filter that detects YouTube URLs and adds the [video: url] before the Video Filter does its magic.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Embedded Media Filter

I found a solution for this, using the Embedded Media module's inline filter. It's missing some documentation, and about drove me crazy, until someone pointed out the problem here: http://drupal.org/node/524410
