I would to place a link of Apply for Role on my primary menu so new users can see it right way and apply for roles. I would appreciate if someone would show me what link to use for this. Thanks.

I think the solution could be.. using the "me" module
http://drupal.org/project/me

and then put the link as http://example.com/user/me/apply_for_role
