When users on the site edit their own comments, its always a hidden edit. I cannot find the option to make a non-hidden edit (is there supposed to be a checkbox on the comment edit form?).

This applies for roles that are allowed to make hidden edits and roles that cannot - both will make hidden edits only.

Edits made by roles that have the 'make hidden edit' permission will make hidden edits.

There is a recent commit that adds a switch so that admins can either 'hidden edit' their own comments, or 'regular edit' them. this wont affect editing other comments though.
