Hi,

I've been watching some screen casts in drupaltherapy.com. specifically about the gmap +location one. What I noticed in his tutorial is he had a "content" block and I only have "content top" and "content bottom". So my resulting gmaps look ugly I can only place it on top before the title or at the bottom after the comments.

If "content" is really not missing and what I saw on the video was old version of drupal(?) how do I place the map in the middle of the page//story?

These must be regions that are custom for the theme you are using. The normal drupal default regions are left sidebar, right sidebar, content, header, footer. To add another region you would have to modify the theme. See this - http://drupal.org/node/171224
