Description

First post, please forgive any errors in the submitting this issue, if any. The link from the project page to asual 2.1 core scripts and libraries points to updated 2.3 version. The 2.1 scripts are at http://www.asual.com/blog/?page-num=2 and that link will only be valid until more blogs posts are added (this is minor but confusing at first). However, as SEO advancements for flash avail, IMO it is critical to adopt these changes for obvious reasons and there have been 2 pretty useful updates since 2.1 . As a new user to Drupal I am unclear as to how things are prioritized but I think this is a very important module. I also realize that the developers here have lives and are working on multiple modules at the same time. I am certainly willing to contribute in any way that I can but I am a content designer by trade and not really a seasoned developer.

I was mistaken, just tried to DL the 2.1 version from the blog link I posted earlier but it just redirects to the version 2.3 page. So it appears this module is broken until a perm link to core files is set up. Looking at project history it appears that development for this module is stalled. Was this implement replaced by another module or method? Flash and Flex integration with Drupal links from Adobe as well as Google search results that yielded Druplash/Druplex as buzz terms is primarily why I opted to use Drupal. I've used a considerable amount of time learning about and setting up Drupal specifically for use with flex on this project. Can anyone help me with a working link? Are there Flex/Drupal development topics anyone can point me to concerning deep linking?

Hi dimmech,

Yes, smerrill and I have been very busy and most of the active development on this has stalled in one way or the other. We have some private updates but need to do some significant clean up work on it.

Upgrading to SWFAddress 2.3 is on our list of things to do. In the mean time, you can still download the SWFAddress 2.1 release here http://sourceforge.net/projects/swfaddress/files/swfaddress/swfaddress-2....

I followed the link and downloaded swfaddress-2.1 but I still get an error in my report saying I have the incorrect version.

The 2.1 version has some bugs with IE 7/8, upgrading to 2.3 solves them.

The current version of SWFAddress library is now 2.4 -- the new 6.x-dev release is now expecting SWFAddress 2.4.
