Hi, Ronan!
Its me, "Brian the Pest" again!
I am wondering if something couldn't be done to move the two (2) test.txt files in the Scheduled and Manual Backups directories when they are moved. In my case, I have moved both of these destinations beyond the public directories (in the SSH side, so I dutifully deleted the two directories in the ../files/backup-migrate/ directory, but then I am receiving a "file not found" error on each run (so I dutifully put them back). It would seem that if a destination is modified, the tests should go along with it, or, in the alternative, not be run repeatedly. If there is to be a test on each run, it would make sense (at least in my convoluted logic) that it should be run in the actual directorie(s) that are being written to.
Just my input.
Regards,
-Brian

Yeah, I need to be better about how often and in what circumstances the module performs it's test.txt security tests. I don't love how it fills your logs with access denied warnings etc. etc.

I'll post back here when I finally figure this out.

Thanks for the feedback.

Try the latest dev and let me know if it solves this problem. I'm don't think I was able to reproduce what you're describing exactly, but I did reduce the frequency of the access checks (they should only happen once and only for directories in the web root.)
