This had me stumped for a while.

Deleting CacheRouter folder after disabling the module would result in site wide WSOD.

Solution: Remember to remove the Configuration stuff from your settings.php file.

As an added bonus my site flys now, as it ran very slowly with CacheRouter config in the settings file and the module disabled.

Also don't forget to truncate your cache tables just in case.
