Comment Error, not sure where to look
Good morning everyone,
I have came across this error the other day and figured it would be something simple to find and correct.

Ok, here is what I have done so far. The user is registered, only authorized users can comment. It has been authorized with a valid email address. A signature has been entered in the fields but don't show up. I have uploaded a picture, which seems to show up and work properly.
I am not sure what I have done wrong, but I can't seem figure out what I have done wrong. My test bed is www.etskywarn.org/cms/ please feel free to drop in and make yourself a temporary account.

Ok, I was looking at the error and thought it might be a CCK error. Well I realized I ahd not installed CCK so I have also added that to the modules section hoping that would help but that did not help either...
Anyone have any thoughts? This is the last hurtle I need to cross to be able to produce a site.

not sure what you are going to do about this but as the warning states you are missing a column that holds data that something is trying to pull from.
That said, I'd investigate my install and figure out what I'm using that would alter or affect core's signatures.

OK. I am totally clueless - core's signatures?
I can get rid of the error which appears to be tied in to the forum module. But when I look in the module control panel everything is green as in activated.
Any other thoughts.. :)

drupal core allows "signatures" on comments. obviously something isn't installed properly as the column should be there.
are you using anything that expands the forums? advanced forum.mdoule for example? or does anything with signatures?
what is the exact version of drupal in use?

first thing I'd do is update core to 6.13 to ensure it isn't a bug that has since been fixed. I'd update any modules that have any thing do with signatures/forums as well.

The "bug" is that the OP hasn't updated. Signatures in core changed in 6.13.

UPDATE
that was strange.... it did work but I was pretty sure i had updated the version I had up..... which I did on the local server not on the online version.
I thought I updated it but I guess the proof is in the pudding. :)
