Hi,
I'm using swftools with jw player in order to display both mp3 and flv files through the swftools' cck formatter. I was wondering if different player settings (using th same player) could be used depending on the file type (example: I want the flv files to be shown at 320x400 and the mp3 files at 22x400).
Thanks

mani.atico commentedI think swftools is a great standard for embedding different type of media into Drupal sites. But, although as an embedding input filter it's a great tool, I think there's still some work to be done on the (recently added) ckk formatter feature. I think there should be an option (maybe another contrib module) that allows the users to create different "profiles", choosing between players and settings, to use as cck formatters and not just one rigid configuration for each player (something similar as the relation between imagefield and imagecache modules). This is my humble opinion on what should be the next great step on the module's development.
pd. I tried to develop a module to accomplish this, but it was quite difficult as the player's settings where handle by each of the extension modules and there was standards in their codes to call the settings forms.
