I tried to use nodereference variables module in content templates, and it didn't work.

It would be useful to make this module compatible with contemplate!

I have absolutely no idea how contemplate works, so I'll have to park this for now. But I will investigate at some point. If anyone who is familiar with contemplate gets time and inclination to look at this, feel free. Post patches here.
