Conflict between Ecommerce 6.x-4.0-rc11 and Filefield 6.x-3.1

I see the standard filefield interface (add/remove, list, description) but clicking remove has no effect. Further, when I add additional images, there is no indication that the operation has completed successfully until I save and view the node. Lastly, the 'list' option is not working for me--unchecking the box has no effect when viewing the node.

I have tested these modules on a fresh install and they work as expected, so I know it's something goofy with my configuration. Bad upgrade from version 5? Module conflict? Hoping somebody can point me in the right direction.
