Highslide

Hi everyone, basically I have a simple question, but I'm not sure if I'm asking it correctly.

One of the content types in my site is "image". Within that content type is the default upload image button which allows you to upload an image. Is there a way to get highslide to work with that default uploaded image, or do I need to create a field using CCK?

Hope that makes sense. I searched around the forum a bit, but nothing seemed to cover that. If there is a way and a post out there already concerning that issue, please point me in the right direction.
