Every time I make a change, which is often, I have refill all the fields. K

this is really a serious problem. a lot of work goes into adding the properties every time a CCK field is added or modified to the content type. are there any plans for fixing this? it seems like most of the effort is going into Drupal 7 now and the issues for Drupal 6 are not a priority. please advise.
