I want to first say this is a great theme!

These might be super simple questions but I still consider myself a Drupal beginner (even though I've build about a dozen sites...lots to learn).

I've been using it as a base to build my new site www.photoshopisland.com. I have 2 issues. I started with the beta before the current version and made changes. So is there any way to get the updates in without going back and starting over? Second, I noticed the blog has a nice date design to it that I don;t see with my site. Was that added in the newest version? If so how do I get that into my edited version of ninesixtyrobots.

I'd recommend that you take a diff between the original version you started with and your current changes, so you have a clear checklist of what you've changed. Then upgrade to the newest release and make your changes. I'd recommend in the future that you add your own custom css file to the .info and put all of your customizations in that css file so they stay nice and separate.
