Organic Groups, Unique fields

Hello All,

I'm working with organic groups and I have a need to give unique fields for a specific group's information. Sort of like:

Group A wants
'Favorite Color: Blue'

And Group B wants
'Favorite Dog: Poodles'

Is it possible to have unique fields for one group that the other can't see? Or would it be better have a blank text field where I can input both the subject and the entry. Or should I just create another group type and apply the fields to the new group type?

Or even worse... is all of this possible and I just need to choose a path? hehe
