Search/node returns blank page

Hello,
When I enter a keyword in my search box and hit the button, it returns a blank page. However, it returns a blank page only when searching for something existing in the database.
For example I type "dog" and it will return a blank page. But if I type a word that doesn't exist in the database, for example "ogd", it returns a normal looking page saying the keyword isn't found. Maybe some modules are known to trouble the search engine like that? Any suggestions?
I don't know if I post it in the right project category, but I hope you are willing to help me solve the problem.
