1. PHP cannot have functions that start with numbers, so no modules or themes can start with numbers.
2. Using '00' as the first few characters of a theme or module is viewed as an attempt to 'game' the module or theme listings so that the respective project is always seen at the top by default.

avpadernoThe most important part is the first point; as the theme could not declare any Drupal hooks, it would be just a static theme (static because its appearance is influenced by its CSS, or JavaScript files).

Don't see any point leaving this dangling. Marking "fixed" since they are unpublished and unwanted by the maintainer.

avpadernoActually, the code that was in these theme has been transfered to another theme (as it was right to do from the beginning, IMO).
In such case, would not it be better to remove all the CVS directory, and delete the projects?

danielhonrade commentedThe 001_dev_skin and 001_dev_skin are now included in the project/devavrata_free_bare, they are actually skins of devavrata_free_bare, but others don't consider subthemes/skins as themes and although both works even if they start with 0s, they can't believe it and they won't try them. So instead of arguing further, I just included them in the core theme which is project/devavrata_free_bare.
By the way, I have developed Devavrata Core Theme Extreme version which has almost 300 theme settings, which changes backgrounds (built-in library of images), colors ,text formats, sidebar and page widths, borders and edges, alignments and margins, color of regions (text, title, backgrounds), and more. You might be interested in this instead of getting these free themes. This is like having hundreds of themes in one because of the theme settings, and your settings can be saved as a skin/subtheme and have skins all you want.
My core theme pushed some theme companies to finish their core themes and add more features to them, but this Extreme version is far more advanced and it will take others months of development time. This is now the future of theming. This may even bring the cost of commercial non-core themes to $10 instead of $200 or $400. Sorry for my advertising my core theme, but this one is a destroyer.
