Your module is very good, with the integration of content taxonomy, this is a very easy way to select some taxonomy terms. I really like it.

In addition, it can be a good alternative to hierarchical select module : A very good module but use massive ressources and not compatible with content taxonomy. In addition, it have a lot of problems with some others modules enabled, this is why I use multiselect.

About the multiselect integration with content taxonomy, it would be good to have a better control, especially with hierarchical taxonomy.

I think about some options :

  • The possibility display the taxonomy depth in the multiselect form (with a "-" before the children for example), acctually, they all have the same level
  • The possibility to force users to choose in the deepest level of taxonomy, if the options is checked, the parent terms are displayed but unselectable (maybe allow users to hide parents with a special options)

Thanks for the compliments. I'm glad you're finding the module useful! I'm marking this issue as a duplicate for #446052: Display should reflect the taxonomy hierarchy, since this feature was previously requested.
