Just a quick question, can 'quick tabs' content be displayed in panels 6.x-3.0? If not will this feature be added?

I have no idea. I don't know anything about quick tabs. If a developer needs Panels to do something to support this I will, but I'd ask in the quick tabs queue.w

Thank you for the prompt reply, would be nice to have this feature, I am currently developing my social networking site, utilising Panels 3, but would like very much to have the content displayed from content profile (module) in panels 6.x-3.0 but within quick tabs to make the content even better organised. If I read correctly support for quick tabs was available before in panels 6.x-2.0 and 5.x. But I was probably mistaken. Hopefully though it can be implemented some time. Would be a great feature added to a fabulous module.

Would like to know whether Ajax is supported, I am displaying 'Views' content within panels utilising the module quicktabs to enhance the layout of the panel pane which appears to work well, except for when either 'Views' or 'Quick tabs' is utilising Ajax in the display. Whenever Ajax is being used the data never loads it seems to just hang while previewing the Panel Pane. Is this related to Quicktabs or is Ajax not yet supported.

Please advise.

Marking as duplicate of #236925: Panels 3 as tab content, where it says in #11: "But QT does not know anything about context and panel arguments, so QT does not support these special types of arguments for the view. Even the view_embed_view() function does not support these arguments, although it is the basic function to render a view..."

It is possible to use Quick Tabs as blocks, but the arguments have to come from the URL. So, in that sense, the answer is yes, they are supported, as all blocks are.
