Description
Hi,
i installed php list and afterwards the drupal module.
My problem: the block for the subscribe/unsubscribe shows up, but if I choose e.g. right row I cannot see anythink in the right row.
- Database info are entered
- block shows up in the drupal block administration menue
- rights are set for the admin.
- simplenews is included as a module but deactivated (maybe thats the problem????)
Many thanks

Hi,
Can you confirm whether you see the "My Newsletters" tab in "My Account"?

I have the same problem and no, My Newsletters does not show up.
I have checked the data in the table and it is there. I imported myself through the UI, but still nothing on the block.

Hi tresero,
Which table? What data? Please be explicit - it helps me enormously to give you sensible answers and suggestions.
Do you mean you used the "Synchronise Now" link in the module's admin page?

- Paul

Im having the same issue here with the non showing block
... I can see the drupal users were imported to phplist but they were not assigned to a list nor do they have any mailing list bits in their user profile edit or register screens in drupal .. something is a mis somewhere ... im going to have to keep digging around, all settings appear to be correct in drupal I'm guessing maybe its something on the phplist side.

Hi,
Sounds like your database configuration for the PHPlist module or (more likely, as per #4) you need to assign list permissions.

I'm also unable to get the block to appear. I'm using drupal 6.14 and phplist 2.10.10, and both are working just fine on their own. After installing the integration module and updating the settings (/admin/settings/phplist/settings), I don't see an option anywhere to modify the list roles -- i.e., all I see under Site Configuration | phpList is an option for 'Settings', but no option for List Roles. In fact, when I try to go to /admin/settings/phplist/settings/listroles, it just displays the Settings page. Any suggestions?

P.S. I just wanted to add/clarify that "Synchronise now" works, so the connection between Drupal and PHPList seems to be fine. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling the module several times, but no link to the list access/permissions is created, and I can't access the page manually -- i.e., by going to /admin/settings/phplist/listroles.

Hi,
The block won't show until some lists have been given permissions. If you can't see the list permissions tab in admin, try clearing your cache on the Performance settings page.
I have just added a fix to the D6-DEV version which should keep the Permissions tab visible right from the outset.

Thanks for making that change Paul. I was aware that permissions to one or more lists needed to be given, but since the option for "List access" wasn't showing up along side the settings tab, I had no way of doing that. Strangely enough it started working for me last night, and I'm not exactly sure why, but I think it may have been related to a mistake a made in the "PHPList URL" setting. I had /lists (without a trailing slash), and I'm not 100% sure, but I think my changing it to /lists/ is what made it start working. Maybe not, but who cares as long as it's working, right? And, of course, once the "List access" tab showed up, I was then able to grant permissions and was off and running. I think the change you've made will help ensure that others don't experience the same problem. Thanks!

Works for me now too! Thanks for an awesome module!
Now I just need to make phplist not ugly.
Why why why did they theme that app the way they did? What a design PITA!
Guess ive gotten spoiled using Drupal.
