I downloaded Goofy 4.7.0 tar last night. After I uploaded and enabled theme (on 4.7 beta 4), I received following error message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: base_path() in /homepages/20/d113627878/htdocs/XXXXX/themes/goofy/goofy.theme on line 285

As a result, I can no longer access my Drupal site.

Please advise possible fix and / or way to gain access to switch back to another theme.

You are using a version of Drupal which is too old. Goofy requires at least Drupal 4.7.0 beta 5.
