Release notes

Fix up some issues with detecting the current branch when checking out a tag. This pulls into the entire origin instead of just the current branch, so the is enough information to find the current branch from the currently checked out tag.

Changes since 6.x-1.0-beta1:

  • Fix up fetching of upstream so that it will pick up the tags correctly
  • Add the release - branch/tag to the status page
