ok i thought i let some people know just in case you do not know it already
twitter is something that a lot of people like and there are now being modules developed etc for it
but twitter has one big major down side that some might not be a wear of :
they say that deleted stuff is deleted but it is NOT really deleted at this moment and date it is still the case ( 27 Juli 2009 )
what ever you post and no matter what you delete it will show up any and everywhere the only way to prevent it from showing up is to set your twitter locked and private but even if so any and all post made be for you do that will not really be gone and will show deleted or not in search stuff etc.
so be careful what you do and what you put on there
twitter is a great concept ( although i think there using it limited and there are other possibility's for it etc. )
but it does have its flaws.
you dont have much control ( if any)
would be nice if have a microblog /shoutbox/wall inside drupal it self that one can really control
this is the closes thing that i found , not know yet if and how it works though !

This is due to how Twitter works, not Drupal
This is due to the way Twitter works, not Drupal. All of the services you linked to take RSS feeds from Twitter and add it to their data stream. They don't check to find out what was deleted, they only add. If you delete something then look at your profile on Twitter, it will be gone. However, the services built on top of Twitter will have already consumed your content, and will keep a copy forever.
If you install your own microblog you'll have to somehow broadcast it yourself as well. You'll lose all of the exposure that you get from search.twitter.com or other services. It's your choice!
i know that ..
hi rupl , i know that it ain't a drupal prob ( thought that was clear by my post ? )

i just waned to point out something that some might not know etc. not all people like high profiles
