For sites that make use of the admin/node screen, the ability to sort through content is great, but the lack of a "check all" button or at least the ability to perform any of the supplied actions on all "found" nodes makes it a hassle. Ditto that for comments, or really any of the screens that have long rows of checkboxen.
I haven't looked yet, but this seems like it shouldn't be hard to handle, and it's certainly a best practice in web UI with a good track record. It think it would enhance admin usability quite a bit.

bradlis7 commentedI second that, but I think this should apply to all admin pages. I'm moving this to the forms system, and to CVS. I think the 4.7 branch is in a feature freeze.
