For easy viewing a list I would rather have less information in the list, but still the option to view all the information about the gift by clicking it.

  • Change the title "Action" to "Get" and "get this gift" to whatever that is shorter (a button, an "X"...)
  • Don't show "Description" nor "URLs" in the list, only if you click the gift you get this extra information.

That would save enough space for the rest information to fit on a single row. Maybe even the "Item Name" field could be made wider.

I'll cycle a change that addresses this into my next round of changes.

Rather than change the default view I intend to do one of two things: add a condensed list view and allow the site administrator to pick which view shows up, or create the ability for the site admin to select which optional columns show on the wishlist. The second is my preference, but if it turns out to be too involved I'll shift back to the first.

Title: Design » Configurable fields in the wishlist summary
Status: Active » Fixed

The columns in the wishlist summary table can now be individually turned on and off based on your site configuration.

This change is currently in head and will be merged into the 4.7 branch after more of the issue queue has been worked a little more.
