Unfortunately I haven't been able to maintain this module, primarily as I no longer have any need for the module.

If anyone is interested in becoming the maintainer of this module, please apply here.

Cheers,
Deciphered.

Please check this issue: http://drupal.org/node/131737
There is a patch for both D6 and D7

FiNeX,

This issue is for someone to put there hand up to take over this module, are you doing that?

finex’s picture

No, I only wanted to inform that someone is working on this issue for D7, maybe the information could be useful to someone who would have wrote on this thread :-)

Although I still have my own module to prep for D7 (big plan this weekend!) I'd be willing to take this over and maintain. I use it on almost every drupal project I deploy so...

Will get in touch with Budda and see if I can get you added.

Cheers,

@chadcf Are you looking to roll out a D7 version of return path?

As i've got no time to check out Drupal 7 mail handling just yet i'm open to offers for co-maintaining the module for 7.x

Yes I'd be willing to port to D7. Just spent the day working on moving my own module to D7 so I'm up on the process now :)

I've just been looking into this and the issue appears to be fixed in D7 core anyway. See DefaultMailSystem::mail() in modules/system/system.mail.inc

I am closing this issue, since the project doesn't have versions for any of the supported Drupal versions.
From the previous comment, I take the module isn't even necessary, in Drupal 7. Probably the project should be marked unsupported and obsolete.
