Hi,
views offer breadcrumbs, if they use arguments. Breadcrumb path is then url to unfiltered view using wildcard.

I often use views e.g. to filter all content of a special user and in that case would like to set breadcrumb to user profil.
Views would offer me breadcrumb to all content of all users.

it is possible to set this via theming, but I'm looking for a way configuring it via gui.
Could this be feature-request for views or has anybody got an idea, how to manage it with drupal standards?

I considered using custom breadcrumbs or rules, but custom breadcrumbs supports only breadcrumbs for views and rules has no option vor views. I also think, that rules can not know the special context of an argument using in views - so it can not build correct url.

Hope you find this idea interesting.
Thanks in advance and best regards,
Ralf

For me this is not a feature which views needs. #smallviews ;)

but custom breadcrumbs supports only breadcrumbs for views

I guess you mean nodes ;)

I suggest you to try out the version 2 of custom breadcrumbs, there you have many many different options, for example breadcrumb per path/view/taxonomy term etc. This is more general then breadcrumbs from views.

PS: It was a cool time in Paris!
