Forgive the intrusion as I am unsure where to post this question. Can't find any reference to it on Drupal anywhere.

I have a client using Drupal 4.6.5. Unforunately the site administrator isn't equipped to handle a DOS bulletin board of the 1980's yet the client company has put the site in their hands.

As a host, my hair is frizzed due to the amount of time having to spend averting problems.

My latest is a module I continue to disable yet am unable to find in the /modules directory.

In the modules, settings, and access control there is an entry of 'ftpchannel', yet again I can find no module referring to it.

I can also find no reference on Drupal to 'ftpchannel'

WTF is it, please.

Big Thanks to anyone able to help.

Google "ftpchannel" with "site:drupal.org" and you'll find that it is a defunct contrib module that was merged into "Subscription."

Not much more information about it than that, but you might try contacting the original module author for some assistance.

Good luck.

Not sure what it is, but may be something used by the developers who contribute modules and patches. Run this search query in Google:

site:drupal.org ftpchannel

Actually, you better friend here is the search comand on your favorite text editor.
The ftpchannel is a channel that comes woth the subscription module. If you want to get rid of it you should delete the modules/subscription folder.
Same goes for the watchdognotify module.

cheers,
