Hi - I have a simple problem, but I couldn't seem to find a solution anywhere else - hopefully I'm missing something obvious
I have a list of nodes as a view and as part of each line returned I would like to show the last comment only per node
Unfortunately, my view creates multiple copies of each node - one for each comment thats been added
Does this make sense?
How can I restrict it to one line only for each node? Distinct in Views2 doesn't do it, btw
Thanks in advance
Duncan

Same issue.. Need field
Same issue.. Need field "Current State Comment". This would solve problem. Presently "Previous Comment" lists ALL previous comments made on that state thus.. duplicates.
Still getting duplicates...
This is still an issue, the node with the comments is repeated for each comment, in stead of all comments listed under each node.
Agree
I understand why you can have duplicate node by taxonomy terms as you can filter them. But what would be a common filter for comments ? I'm sure we can find some but the more common use of a comment is to be related to the initial node and not duplication...
Is there an easy way to solve this ? Settings issue or module issue ?
solution?
Did anyone find a solution? I am getting the same thing. What am i missing? Everytime a comment is added to a node it duplicates the node. How do i get comments listed under the node?

click on distinct in your default view under basic settings.
