Issue Summary
This is a reminder to myself to work on this. Allow, perhaps as a submodule, the ability to go back to prior months/years of availability calendars. This is for historic purposes.

if this gets added it will be in 2.x branch

Already exists under path availability-calendars//(/) though the hideold setting probably obscures the real history. to not obscure history, I guess you would need to add some kind of permission check though. That's all you basically need to add, and perhaps some links somewhere, so people don't have to type the url into the address bar.
To extend this issue to "history handling" in general:
- view history (permission based, thus also: prevent viewing history)
- clean history (cron?)
- prevent rewriting history (edit link on older calendars): ancient Soviet practices

Reactivating this for the 7.x-3.x branch. I have some visions of nice graphs about occupancy rates etc....
