Installed feedapi-6.x.1.7-beta3.tar.gz worked for a few minutes then stopped...Downgraded to install feedapi-6.x-1.6.tar.gz that was functional for several weeks but that no longer works ..Tried a new fresh install on a test site with feedapi-6.x-1.6.tar.gz-worked once-but no longer seems functional as well..Using feed_mapper 6.x-1.0-beta12.tar.gz....Mapper seems no longer to recognise urls fed into feeder..Already did the @# simplepie suggested fix-not so much-
This mod is a great example of the great things Drupal can do-but also the problems associated with unregulated documentation
Very frustrating bug-

This one is for the brick award books..

The URL field was auto-populating in /node/add/feed with a click of the mouse into the "Feed URL"
The url while showing as being populated is actually NOT being processed..I tried it 10 times before posting on here this finding. If you type the url in the field then the url IS PROCESSED..

Did you try this patch? #260670-140: Feed URL is discarded, feed items not saved

Can you describe in more detail wha the problem is? What do you mean by 'not being processed'?
