it would be great if there is somehow added a vimeo support,

i added the vimeo url of a video via submit url but somehow this is not working right!
no video support of this format!

We are looking into supporting other players. There is, unfortunately, a long list. If anyone wants to contribute a "type" module (like Youtube) or better yet, a generic embedder ... :)

I would also need the support of vimeo.
I tried to create a type module, but I have problems with vimeo api

please use Embeded media fileds module

Embeded media fileds module is not integrated with video module.
I try to develop the type module for vimeo ;-)
