i am trying to get a good understanding of your module and it looks very interesting.

Here is my question: (maybe a strange one but anyhow)

is it possible to setup a profile for members using tagnode module instead of using the regular profile options? E.g. to use Taxonomy Access Control to give members access to more of someone's profile (using your tagnode) based on role or other?

If i am at the wrong track please say so :).

Eagle-i,
It's an interesting thought.

I can think of 2 possible ways of using a tagnode-like approach toward users
(1) user = tagnode: hook up users to taxonomies similar to the way a node type is hooked up to taxonomies. So users become a tagnode or "taguser", and they are associated with node using the taxonomy system. On a user page you can build the list of content assigned to them using the existing tagnode infrastructure.
(2) user = taggee: user is taggable with tagnodes

Are there no existing modules that associate users with nodes?

I suspect this would be best done using a eventually forthcoming relations API? Depending on if it also includes users in its capabilities.
