after uploading it the site (with plugin manager) I couldn't get to any admin menu items, the public side of the site worked OK, just not any admin links (just hung). deleted folder and site loaded immediately
(drupal 6, with loads of other modules)

sorry, appears it was just coincidental to trying feeder, as it's just happened again so must be something else on my site ....
