I am searching from last 2 to 3 days for adding image from external links.I used bbcode but it is not useful for image.I also installed cck module it doesnt looks what i needed
could anybody tell me which module or how it works

Do you mean adding images to your own site that are hosted on someone else's server?

One of my site owners wants this too - something about their country's copyright laws.

have you taken a look at the embedded media module. i know it allows videos to be embedded and pretty sure it supports pics as well.

I went to find the embedded media file and this is what it says about images:

The Embedded Image Field module currently supports Flickr, Imageshack, Picassa and Photobucket images. It creates a field that you can paste the url from, for instance, a Flickr photo into, which will then display that photo in a configurable size, with a link either to the node or to the original page from Flickr.

So not for 'random' images yet perhaps.
