User Profile Page Auto Close

Firstly awesome module starbow.

I am having a problem where I've created popup links on the users profile page example.com/user to create a new content type in a popup box. The new content form loads in the popup box without any problems and validation works etc but when I save the form the popup confirmation message doesn't show up and the user page loads within the popup box with the system confirmation box.

I've tried all the different classes in the readme.txt and checked the popup settings.

Initially I had the links in a panel pane, so I thought panels may have be the conflict so I uninstalled that and created a link using the user-profile.tpl and the href class. But the same error happens. I have tested the links on other node and panel pages and it works fine so I'm not too sure what the problem is with the user page.

Any help would be appreciated.
