Don't know how to get the file playing?

So I have Installed SWF Tools

And jeroen weijerings flv player in it.

Now I Want to stream a video From this link: http://cdn1.fliqz.com/fliqz/production/videos/c542592926a141f18e3d5d61e1...

I tried a lot? But can't figure it out?

When I insert it it just show the text with the swf object in front of it...

How wil i let it work?

Or can i only stream videos I hosted myself? I don't hope so

Is there anyone who knows what to do?

I'm not sure I understand your problem, but try going into the "Display Fields" section of y our content type and telling it to use the flv player for that field.

The SWF Tools module enables you to embed audio and video content on your site. These content/materials must already exist on your server (in any folder of your choosing as long as they are in the file/ dir.)

On the other hand, if you want to merely pull content from other side like You Tube (a process called leeching which saves you bandwidth), swf tools is not much magical here. I do not know how you want to stream from the link abv bcos the link itself is meant for downloading.

To use SWF Tool the tricky part is to download the players correctly in the "shared" folder and configure them accordingly.

The module itself is stable.

I only use Flowplayer3 and am glad to assist on this player, altho all others are similar.
