i've found a few bugs in weburl.module, and am submitting issues (and where possible, patches) for them. it'd be nice if there was a "weburl.module" component in this project.

When I was asked about creation of a URL field type, I didn't realize it was going to be committed to this project. I think it can stay, but I'm not sure; I want the basic package to be as lean as possible. Contributed field types are welcome to be added as new projects; that's the reason CCK is designed using modules rather than Flexinode-style .inc files.

Removed weburl from cvs, please use link instead (http://drupal.org/project/link). Weburl is not being maintained. If you don't want link formatting, you can create plain text fields for your links, or format the links in your themes for a text field.
