Does anyone know the structure behind this site? I am working for a non-profit group who is interested in establishing something nearly identical to this. I'm new to Drupal, but I'm familiar with some programming and have created a number of WP sites. So I'm thinking there are a number of plug-ins that could achieve what they have set-up here? Any thoughts?
Seems a pretty standard drupal type of site. There's no way to know for sure, but it seems like a pretty basic site-- core drupal, views, and panels or display suite (or straight up theming).
Drupal and Wordpress operated differently. With WP you download a theme that contains all the functionality to create a specific type of site with Drupal the theme is independent of the functionality, so you can use any theme, and you download modules that provide various bits of dynamic functionality which you then configure to work the way you want. So you won't find an all-in-one solution for Drupal sites like you would with a Wordpress site.
