node-commentary.tpl.php not showing up?!

I made a CCK node type called 'commentary'. I am trying to style that node but to no avail. I created node-commentary.tpl.php but it doesn't seem to like it. Is 'commentary' a conflicting or reserved Drupal term? I've done other D6 themes before and am pretty sure I'm doing this correctly, naming the template file node-<type>.tpl.php.
Thoughts? Appreciate it. Thanks.

Was trying to delete this post but I guess I can't.
I needed to run update.php and/or cron.php to pick up the changes. Could've swore I ran it already....
