Infinite looping creating menu items?

I've run a couple tests to see how this module works and most I've tried just seem to lock up forever. That would be ok, except when I finally hit 'stop' and go back, there are 1500 menu items which makes Apache use about 1500% CPU and 5G of RAM on every page render (ok, I could be exaggerating 'a touch').
