... but if this field type has NOT the flag on "requested" ("Obbligatorio", in my italian translation) it seems to work good.

This (I believe) is the same problem I'm having. My setup is flexinode v.4.7.x-0.3, drupal v.4.7.6; file uploads using something other than flexinode work. However, uploads via field_file only work if the field is not marked as "required". If it is marked "required", I get an error indicating that I left that field blank.

This problem is new to me with flexinode 4.7. My production site runs 4.6, and field_file works fine there.
