Page route , profile set-up

hi every one, drupal is interesting though, but i have some annoying issues. I am working on a project and the modules that i find that could be helpful all have issues..profile_setup needs page route to run and page route for drupal six has tons of issues...i have installed the beta edition and the dev 6.x but i keep having errors and i have a tight deadline to deliver, can anyone pls help...thank you
