A client, who sells advertising for a magazine and is trying to sell web sites as well, has suggested that I design a kind of "automatic site builder" system, or a very easy to use system to set up simple websites with predefined templates,
Websites will be no more than a front page, three to six content pages and a contact page. A simple menu.
Users must be able to modify their information via a form (field1, photo1, etc). They should not be forced to edit a page, even with fckeditor.
One domain per site. No visible sharing for visitors. They are independent sites.

I can develop something in php but as a Drupal fan I am looking for ways to accomplish this in Drupal.

Multisites look like a overkill, since I don't need full Drupal functionality for each site.
I've searched thru Virtual Sites, Domain Access, Organic Groups... none of them seems to be what I need.

Any ideas?
Thanks.

In case you are interested, I came to the conclusion that the answer for this particular task is "not using Drupal".
I've tested around a dozen "lite" CMS (no database required) and chose Pluck (www.pluck-cms.org) as the one that best suited my needs.
Of course Drupal is unbeatable for medium to big sites.
