Heck of a time getting SubMenu Tree to work
I'm having a heck of a problem getting this to work properly. I'm running the latest version of Drupal 6 (6.13) and its a brand new install.
I have a Primary Menu <Primary Links>
Item 1
Item 2
Item 3
Sub Item 1
Sub Item 2The
<Primary Links> menu is showing fine at the top of the page as I would it expect it to.
Under admin/build/menu-customize/primary-links they are all checked as enabled and Item 3 is checked as expanded.
I have Enabled the additional blocks through the Admin and for illustration purposes I've named those blocks:
Sub Menu
Sibling Menu
Extended
They are all enabled to be shown in the left column and there are no restriction on who can view etc.
Extended block actually shows what I am looking for i.e.
Item 3
Sub Item 1
Sub Item 2But only in the Home Page
When I add a new or edit an existing item I go to the menu settings section. I enable the Submenu Tree checkbox and Display it as a Menu. I cannot get this to show up anywhere, at all.

If I add a Menu Link Title to Item 3 - the sibling menu will show up but will list all the menu items under <Primary Links>. This just doesn't seem right.
Just to be clear, under the Menu Settings area in the Item 3 product:
Menu Settings -
Menu Link Title: Empty
Parent Item <Primary Links>
Enable submenu trees for this node: Checked
Title: WHERE IS THIS
Display submenu trees as: MENU
Enable siblingmenu trees for this node: Checked
Title: WHERE IS THIS 2
Display siblingmenu trees as: MENUI cannot for the life of me get this working. Any help/insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

A number of things to check ...
Is Item 3 a node? Submenutree only works for menu items which are nodes. It doesn't operate for all menu items.

Is this 'Display it as a Menu' under (in the select dropdown) Block or Content?
What if you try the other display options (particularly Display as Titles)?

It's working as intended. The sibling menutree displays the siblings of Item 3 - so it will display Item 1, Item 2, Item 3.
