Need support for /blog pages appearing under 2nd level menus

I'm listing this as a bug but it may be a user error. I 2 levels in my menu hierarchy. In the top level is: Community. Under that is Galleries, Blogs, Forums, etc. For all of my Blog Posts I've updated Menu Trails to use Community->Blogs as the Parent Item and those are working fine. However when the user clicks on "Username's Blog" and goes to /blog/4 it goes back to the top most menu and doesn't show the second level menu. How can I get /blogs items to appear in the second level menu?
