Would like to hire someone for a 6-8 hour workday, salary paid weekly. Job is approximately 2-3 months in length and is for an individual that will commit to this project only, not working on multiple projects. Salary is in line with experience and performance.
Need someone I can work with in-person, though everday contact not necessary. Therefore the individual must live close to the Murrieta/Temecula area of Southern California. This is an affiliate travel website for Expedia and is complicated relevant to most websites. Prior travel website experience will be given first priority.
The overall design and mockups are finished, though there is room for improvement and functionality, therefore a creative individual with good design sense, as well as innovative ideas of functionality is what we are looking for. In addition we are seeking an individual with sights on Web 2.0 and integrating website with social network/forum/blog/etc, as a phase 2 of project.
Must know how to use the SEO capabilities of Drupal at the expert level. For example, If you do not understand how to re-name URL's at the expert level please do not apply. Most affiliate sites do not rank and have a hard time indexing because the on-page SEO is not top-notch, so this is an area you must excel in.
Part of the weekly agenda is in simple teaching of how to use Drupal so that new content and updates can be integrated by owner. Currently owner does not know CMS at any proficiency level. Your job is to help close that gap.
Need references and samples of prior work. On a serious note, if you have no experience with complicated data integration you will get stuck half-way through this project, so please save us both time and money and do not apply. For those that know they can accomplish a site reminiscent of Expedia or Travelocity, we are eager to talk with you.
