So there never was any actual data visualized and this error popped up with every page:

error traversing database - perhaps it is corrupt? in .../modules/geostats/geoip.inc on line 422.

Is this module going to be maintained?

This module does not work at all :-(

The log is full of PHP errors like
error traversing database - perhaps it is corrupt? in /var/www/drupal-6.13/sites/all/modules/geostats/geoip.inc on line 422.

and going to /geostat gives a screen saying "No data", as shown in the attached screenshot.
