I was just testing the Drupal 6 version and I was wondering, what is the point of the "seller commission" amount if it's editable by the user ( when creating or editing a product)?

To me it sounds more logical that the commission can only be specified by the admin, correct me if I'm wrong.

Settings (Marketplace settings) affect whether this is displayed and/or editable by the user. It can be calculated automatically. For some situations (example: wholesalers), it needs to be editable by the user.
